Bhakita Consortium

Bakhita International Consortium was founded in October 2005 in Brescia (Italy). The Consortium, set up by several NGOs and Foundations, aims to support reconstruction and development in Sudan.
The modus operandi i sto work with local NGOs and Associations, strongly believing in partecipated cooperation.
The activities of the Consortium take into consideration the need, in the international cooperation context, to build up wider and more coordinated structures in particular the Consortium follows the directive of UNDP, EC (EuropeAid) and Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs directives, aimed at fostering consortia between NGOs and Associations.

VISION
To facilitate peace and development via the support of local stakeholders.

MISSION
To cooperate with local NGOs in the empowering process of Education, Health and basic infrastructures.

GOAL
To collaborate in developing strategies and modalitities of intervention, in order to render them more effective in meeting the concrete needs of the involved populations.
To present common projects of international cooperation to the Local Authorities and to UNDP, EC, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other local bodies.
